Do you love the fall season? Me too! Brisk mornings, beautiful colors, I love everything fall! It is no surprise that creating fall diffuser blends is among my favorite things to do!

To celebrate the season, I also make fall-themed crafts, put Cinnamon oil into my hand soap, and make sure to diffuse my favorite immune strengthening blends. But essential oil blends are especially popular for this time of year.

I tend to use my essential oil diffuser a bit more during colder months and when cold & flu season is lingering. Aromatherapy provides beautiful support for our immune systems, as well as our emotional health and well-being as the days get darker and the nights get colder.

Diffusing essential oils is also an extra nice touch for festive holidays such as Thanksgiving.

When I think about the fall season, I think earthy, woody, but still somewhat spicy and brisk aromas. Fall isn’t a very flowery season so you won’t find any summer or spring essential oils in this collection.

How to Use A Diffuser Recipe?

Essential oil diffusers are a true blessing to freshen up stale air. They are used to disperse fine particles of oils blended with water into the surroundings of the room. Please refer to our guide on how to use an essential oil diffuser if you’re completely new to the topic of diffusing oils.

Though some diffusers have instructions to dilute up to 12 drops of oil, that much isn’t required unless you have a water tank of 300+ mL. Most common essential oil diffusers have a reservoir of around 150-200 mL, which requires 6-7 drops of essential oils only.

• For a diffuser size around 100 ml: cut the recipes in half.
• Larger sized diffuser of 300+ ml: double the recipe drops.

Pumpkin Spice

This fall diffuser recipe is a little more elaborate than the above pumpkin pie diffuser blend recipe. With the addition of ginger and nutmeg, it takes the blend to the next level! 10 x the recipe and it will make a wonderful pumpkin spice master blend that you can use in DIY recipes to your liking.

• 1 drop Nutmeg Essential oil
• 1 drop Clove bud Essential oil
• 2 drops Cinnamon Essential oil
• 2 drops Ginger Essential oil
• 1 drop Sweet Orange Essential oil
• 1 drop Cardamom Essential oil

Orange Spice

A sweeter variation of the pumpkin spice blend. Leaving out most of the powerful aromas such as clove and ginger, this blend is smooth and even, yet still pleasantly reminiscent of autumn flavors. Orange is always a popular choice and is great for adding to your recipes. Its sweet citrus flavor will lighten up any room.
